This site sets almost nothing. Here is the complete list, with no hedging.
What we set without asking
One item, and it is not a cookie. When you answer the cookie banner we store your choice in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again on every page. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it from our servers.

What we set only if you accept
If you press Accept on the banner, we load Google Analytics 4. Until you do, the Google Analytics script is not downloaded at all, so nothing is set, nothing is sent and no request is made to Google. This is stricter than the usual implementation, where the tag loads immediately and merely withholds the data.

How our Google Analytics 4 property is configured, in full:
- Google Consent Mode v2 is set to deny analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization by default. Only analytics_storage is ever granted, and only when you press Accept.
- IP addresses are not logged or stored. Google Analytics 4 drops them on collection and there is no setting that turns that off, so there is nothing for us to anonymise. Your approximate location is derived at country and city level and the IP itself is discarded.
- Google Signals is off, so nothing is joined to a signed-in Google account, and demographic and interest reporting is off.
- Advertising features, remarketing and data sharing with Google for product improvement or benchmarking are off.
- Data retention is set to 14 months, the maximum available for user and event level data.
Google Ireland Limited acts as our processor for this data under Google's data processing terms. Google may transfer it to Google LLC in the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, and Google's standard contractual clauses apply in addition.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics on every site you visit by installing Google's browser opt-out add-on.
What we do not set
- No advertising or remarketing cookies
- No social media tracking pixels
- No session recording or heatmap tools
- No third-party chat widget
- No embedded YouTube or Vimeo, which would set cookies of their own
Location pages embed a map from OpenStreetMap rather than Google Maps, specifically because OpenStreetMap does not set tracking cookies. Loading a page with a map does make a request to openstreetmap.org, which will see your IP address in the ordinary course of serving the map tiles, in the same way any website you visit does. The map is lazy loaded, so it is only requested if you scroll to it.
We load two typefaces from Google Fonts. That request goes to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com and sets no cookies, but it does expose your IP address to Google. If you would rather that did not happen, blocking those two domains in your browser will change nothing else about the site.
Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time: . If you switch from accept to reject, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser straight away.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Nothing on this site breaks if you do.
If you do nothing
The banner stays until you answer it, and analytics stays off. Ignoring the banner is treated as a rejection, not as consent.
