Accountancy website redesign
A redesign is the right call when the site works but does not win anything: no specialism, no enquiry path beyond a contact form, and nothing published in a year. We rebuild from £1,450, live in three to four weeks, with a full 301 redirect map so you keep the rankings you already have.
Six things you get
Keep what works
We start with your existing analytics and Search Console. Pages that bring enquiries keep their URL and get better, rather than being redesigned into oblivion.
Full 301 redirect map
Every old URL mapped to a new one, checked after launch. This is the single most common way a practice loses rankings in a rebuild, and it is entirely preventable.
A specialism, finally
Most redesigns fail because they change how the site looks without changing what it says. We start with who you want more of.
Your software connected
Client portal entry point, quoting links, booking calendar and calculators, set up against your real accounts and tested before launch.
Compliance reviewed
Every page checked against the ICAEW Code of Ethics and the ACCA Rulebook, so your compliance partner gets a clean review rather than a list.
Faster by construction
Static build, one stylesheet, no plugin sprawl. Lighthouse 90+ at handover and a care plan that keeps it there.
Want a price for this?Four details and we come back within one working day with a fixed number and a launch date, in writing.
When a redesign is the wrong answer
Sometimes the site is fine and the positioning is not. If your pages are technically sound and the only problem is that they say nothing about who you serve, that is a copy and structure job, not a rebuild, and it costs a fraction as much. We will tell you which one you are looking at before you have paid anything, because selling you a rebuild you did not need is a short-term business.
The thing that goes wrong most often
Rankings lost in the move. It happens when old URLs are quietly dropped instead of redirected, and it is entirely avoidable. Every redesign we do includes a mapped 301 redirect for every existing URL that has traffic or links, checked after launch rather than assumed.
Accountancy website redesign, answered
Will we lose our Google rankings?
Not if the redirect map is done properly. Every existing URL with traffic or links gets mapped to its new home with a 301, and we check them after launch rather than assuming. Skipping that step is the most common reason a practice sees traffic collapse after a redesign.
Can you keep our existing content?
Yes, where it is worth keeping. We audit what brings enquiries and what does not, rewrite what is close, and cut what is dead weight. Most practices have three or four pages doing real work and a dozen doing nothing.
How long does a redesign take?
The same as a new build: three to four weeks for five pages, five to six for twelve to fifteen. Migration of a large existing site adds time, which we will state in the quote rather than discovering later.
Our site is on Wix or Squarespace. Can you work with it?
We would rebuild rather than work inside it. Those platforms are fine for a brochure and limiting for anything that needs to rank and be cited. We will tell you honestly whether the move is worth it for your firm.
What if we are mid-contract with our current agency?
That is between you and them, but we can time the build so it launches when you are free. Bring us the contract dates in the enquiry and we will plan around them.
